The Vivo V21 5G is set to launch in Malaysia and India this week. While the Malaysian launch of the Vivo V21 5G, as well as the non-5G V21e, has been teased by Vivo Malaysia’s Twitter for some time now, GSMArena has reported that the Vivo V21 5G will also launch in India the same week on April 29 and will be sold on Flipkart.
To recap the bits of currently-revealed information, the phone sports an ultra-slim matte glass design. The phone features a 44MP front camera with OIS and dual-selfie spotlight, along with a 64MP OIS night camera in its three-camera setup on the rear.
The Vivo V21 5G comes with 8GB of RAM, which can be increased by an additional 3GB. Three colour options are promised. According to Flipkart, the Sunset Dazzle and Arctic White versions of the phone have a thickness of 7.39mm and a weight of 177g, while the Dusk Blue version has a thickness of 7.29mm and a weight of 176g.
According to GSMArena, the Sunset Dazzle version has a special double coating to “achieve a rainbow-like effect when light hits the rear panel at different angles”. The website also reported that the phone’s 2.5D antiglare glass features "high roughness and high transmissivity".
