This year, the 11th annual Dota tournament, The International (TI), will be held in our neighboring country, Singapore. This was confirmed last night by Valve in an announcement video. The International 11 (TI11), traditionally held in the West in the past (outside of TI9 which was held in Shanghai), will be the first time that TI will be held in a South East Asian country in the event’s 11 year history.
The event will be held in October, following last year’s time frame and Valve have also confirmed that players will be playing at Singapore’s Indoor Stadium and Suntec Arena. Additional details such as ticket prices and dates will be announced later on.
