With the increasing popularity of smartwatches, brands are ensuring that they are not slacking behind - the same applies to Samsung. Hence, the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 is now here.
The box that the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 comes in is pretty straightforward. It comes with an all-white rectangular box like most smartwatches would, it has a picture of the watch in the middle and the model of the watch (Galaxy Watch 5) on the top.
This series of the Galaxy Watch5 comes in both 40mm and 44mm respectively. The 40mm size comes in 3 colors: Silver, Pink Gold, and Graphite, my unit being the latter. On the other hand, the 44mm size also comes in 3 colors: Graphite, Sapphire, and Silver.

Those are the only things included in the box and are pretty much straightforward. I did however wish that an extra pair of bands were included in the box for users with smaller hands, a S-M-sized band maybe?
Now, the Galaxy Watch5 looks like all of Samsung Galaxy’s previous releases and it is Samsung’s design language so no complaints on my side.
The strap still has a rubberized feel and finish which is common in smartwatches as it provides a better grip. The watch itself comes with an Aluminium metal frame and Sapphire Crystal display that makes it 60% more durable compared to the Watch4.
Another improvement implemented is the bigger battery life that it has. The 40mm Galaxy Watch5 now comes with 284mAh of battery life while the 44mm Galaxy Watch5 now comes with 410mAh of battery life making this series 13% better than its predecessor.
In terms of features, it has improved wellness sensors, advanced sleep coaching, and auto workout tracking which we will explain further in our full review of the watch.
