Tsuburaya Field Entertainment International has announced an exciting collaboration between the Ultraman Card Game and Yukinobu Tatsu, the renowned manga artist behind DAN DA DAN, currently serialized on Shonen Jump+.
Unveiled at Tsuburaya Convention 2025, the collaboration features an exclusive illustration of “Alien Metron, The Hallucination Alien” by Tatsu, which will appear as a special card-topper in the upcoming Booster Pack Vol. 5: Heroes of the Radiant Dawn.

The collaboration celebrates the massive success of Yukinobu Tatsu’s hit manga DAN DA DAN—an occult-themed coming-of-age story with over 10 million copies sold. Tatsu’s exclusive new artwork depicts Alien Metron sprinting through a city at dusk and will be released as a limited-edition promotional card, included as a box-topper with every 24-pack box of “Heroes of the Radiant Dawn”, marking the Ultraman Card Game’s first anniversary.
According to Eiji Shishido, General Producer of the Ultraman Card Game, the collaboration honors Tatsu’s passion for Ultraman and serves as a thank-you to dedicated players. Rudy Ng, Vice President of Tsuburaya Fields Entertainment International, added that Tatsu’s distinctive blend of eerie and playful artistry captures Alien Metron’s essence perfectly, making the card both a game asset and collectible piece that connects modern manga with the classic Ultraman universe.
Launching on Friday, 31 October 2025, “Heroes of the Radiant Dawn” debuts new mechanics and powerful Quad Rare (RRRR) cards featuring the powered-up forms of beloved iconic Ultra warriors such as Glitter Tiga and Shining Ultraman Zero. Later this year, the “Ultra Deck 01 Ultraman Tiga & Ultraman Blazar” pre-constructed deck will also be released, offering a ready-to-play 60-card set with official markers and limited-design sleeves, perfect for both new and returning fans.
