TT Expo 2020 Day 3: New Thermaltake Water Cooling, Fans, AIO

Writer: StephanieStephanie

4 June marked the last day of the Thermaltake Expo 2020 event, which was livestreamed over the course of 3 days in lieu of a physical event. You may find coverage of day 1 here and day 2 here.

New Pacific Series Water Cooling Components

The Pacific PR32-D5 Plus Reservoir & Pump Combo features a rotary inlet and outlet design that is easy for users to install. The 220mm-long reservoir with a 300ml capacity has twelve high lumen addressable LEDs that can display 16.8 million colours across the RGB spectrum, enabled by the TT RGB Plus software. The high-performance D5 pump can create a high flow system that allows coolant to travel at a faster pace. The new mounting features also enables the Pacific PR32-D5 to be installed to a fan or a radiator so that users can save more space.

The Pacific W7 Plus CPU Water Block has a transparent upper cover design that allows users to show off their coolant while providing stunning RGB illuminating effects. The Pacific W7 CPU Water Block’s specially machined copper base has a perfect mirror finish with anti-corrosive nickel plating that provides exceptional heat transfer and anti-corrosion protection for the most demanding use conditions. It features a built-in temperature sensor that will pick up the temperature from the passing coolant and transmit the signal to the TT RGB Plus software, which controls the twelve high lumen addressable LEDs. The Pacific W7 Plus supports Intel and AMD universal brackets.

Inspired by All-in-One water blocks, the Pacific MX1 Plus CPU Water Block has a higher water block top cover, which helps display the lighting in a different depth over the CPU. Just like the Pacific W7 Plus, the Pacific MX1 Plus CPU Water Block also has a specially machined copper base that has a perfect mirror finish with anti-corrosive nickel plating. It also features a built-in temperature sensor and supports Intel and AMD universal brackets.

Three New Fans

The TOUGHFAN 12 High Static Pressure Fan incorporates a 2nd generation hydraulic bearing, ultra-tight tip clearance, and is equipped with a reinforced-metal motor hub. The TOUGHFAN is a PWM-controlled fan designed to perform at a maximum operating speed of up to 2000 RPM and is optimized for high static pressure while maintaining minimal noise.

The Pure Duo 12/14 ARGB Radiator Fan comes in black and white color versions, and is also a PWM-controlled fan with two independent rings and nine addressable LEDs on each ring that allows users to switch among seven lighting modes. Moreover, the Pure Duo can synchronise with 5V RGB-capable motherboards from ASUS, GIGABYTE, MSI, and ASRock to display 16.8 million colour combinations via the lighting software supported by those motherboards.

The Pure A12/A14 LED Radiator Fans, on the other hand, have nine LEDs, which come in four fixed colours: red, blue, green, and white. Both Pure Duo 12/ 14 ARGB Radiator Fan and Pure A12/A14 Radiator Fans are designed with a hydraulic bearing with a self-lubricating friction-reducing substance, which reduces noise production while improving thermal efficiency. The anti-vibration mounting system allows the fans to operate at the maximum fan speed of 1500 RPM, providing minimal noise.

The Pure Duo 12/14 ARGB Radiator Fans and Pure A12/A14 LED Radiator Fans will be available on June 22, white the TOUGHFAN 12 High Static Pressure Fan, will be available in Q3 2020.

Thermaltake ARGB TH120/240/360 AIO

Besides the fancy ARGB fans that would draw people’s attention, the quality of the Thermaltake ARGB TH120/240/360 AIO would also surprise the users with its affordable pricing. The glossy surface of the copper base plate guarantees high performance and impressive heat extraction. The top-quality pump, hidden in the glowing ARGB water block, ensures excellent coolant circulation that would constantly keep the copper plate cool.

The large surface radiator combined with the radiator fans dispatches heat in a highly efficient way. On the high-static pressure designed radiator fans are the 16.8 million color LEDs that are ready to sync with 5V RGB capable motherboards from Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, and ASRock, allowing users to show off their creativity. Users can also control the lighting effects of the fans through the Smart Fan Controllers that are attached to the ARGB TH120/240/360 AIO.

The Thermaltake TH120/240 AIO CPU Liquid Coolers are available immediately, while the TH360 will be available for purchase in July 2020.
