This week, Epic Game Store is giving away Rising Storm 2: Vietnam and ABZÛ for free.
Rising Storm 2: Vietnam is a semi-realistic tactical FPS with 64 player-matches and a high chance of dying to an unseen enemy. It first released on Steam back in 2017, but still has a dedicated, albeit slightly small, player base. The game features asymmetrical warfare, with US and their allies getting helicopters and napalm while the North Vietnamese forces spawn on placeable tunnels.
ABZÛ has its dangers too, but its also a prettier and more relaxing game where artillery won’t rain on you. Featuring the involvement of Journey’s art director, the game takes you underwater into a lovely ocean world. “Interact with schools of thousands of fish that procedurally respond to you, each other, and predators. Linger in epic seascapes and explore aquatic ecosystems modeled with unprecedented detail. Descend into the heart of the ocean where ancient secrets lie forgotten. But beware, dangers lurk in the depths,” reads the store description.
Both games are available for free from now till 15 October at 11pm.
