Redmi is bringing the brand's first-ever laptop to the Malaysian shores on 6 June -the RedmiBook 15. It will come in two variants at a special promotional price starting from RM1,899.
According to the images on the Xiaomi Malaysia Facebook page, the laptop will be available in two versions. One will be powered by the 11th Gen Intel Core i5 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, while the other will be equipped with an Intel Core i3 processor along with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
It will sport a 15.6" FHD IPS LCD display with an anti-glare coating and DC dimming support. It has a 46Whr battery, which can deliver 10 hours of battery life. For connectivity, there will be USB 3.0 and HDMI 1.4 ports, a Realtek RTS5176 card reader, and an audio jack.
The RedmiBook 15 will retail for RM2,399 and 2,799 for the Intel Core i3 and Core i5 models respectively. Those who purchase it from 6 - 30 June will receive a free Mi casual backpack worth RM69 at all authorized Xiaomi stores, Shopee, and Lazada.
