The Last of Us Part 1 is already out on the PC but things are not getting well since the launch. While the studio lays a 25-day delay on the game to ensure the game is "in the best shape possible", it seems like the "best shape" on the PC port is nowhere good enough.
The new PC port has been plagued with problems such as frequent crashes, low frame rate, excessing long compiling shaders, and more. These problems even occur on high-end computers.
There are also several players in the Steam reviews reporting issues with shaders, which take a very long time in order to load and crash during the process.
Luckily, Naughty Dog has responded to the complaints from PC players, saying that they will be working on patches and will update players soon when it's available. Meanwhile, it's better to leave the game for a while if you don't wanna burn your PC down.
