The PUBG MOBILE National Championship (PMNC) Malaysia Fall 2025 has concluded in a thrilling display of skill and determination, catapulting fresh talent onto the regional eSports scene. Team 52 and AZ Slumber have emerged victorious, securing their spots to compete in the upcoming PUBG MOBILE Super League (PMSL) SEA Fall in Thailand. With the Official Smartphone Partner of PMNC MY Fall 2025, TECNO empowered the competition with POVA 7 Ultra 5G.
The tournament witnessed an impressive turnout of over a thousand teams, representing various university campuses and amateur organizations from across Malaysia. These aspiring champions battled fiercely through the qualifiers for a chance to secure one of the top 10 positions in the Grand Finals. The stakes were amplified in the final showdown as they faced off against established powerhouses and last season’s top contenders: MAQNA ESPORTS CLUB (MEC) and NEW ERA (NWE).

AZ Slumber got a strong start by placing Top 1 on the first day but MEC snatched the crown on the second day. Ultimately, the battle between the two teams concluded with AZ Slumber finishing with more points than MEC, solidifying their spot to PMSL SEA Fall 2025. This will be their first time at the regional tournament, with players like LEX, CZ and RUSH who have been looking for a breakthrough since PMNC 2024.
Despite ranking in the Top 5 on Day 3, Team 52 rose to the Top, showing who’s the boss by achieving ‘Smash Rule’ at the end of the day and was crowned champion. This is the second time that the team has been crowned PMNC champion but with a new lineup. The lineup consists of familiar faces: KIDDO and MANZY, whom were with MEC at last season’s PMSL SEA, and former Homebois player HELTON, another PMSL veteran, leading the team. The team had proven themselves to be among the best teams and will now have the chance to play against the Top teams of the region in the upcoming tournament.

Formerly of TODAK, player RILL joined MEC and outshoned the entire tournament by being the MVP of this season. Although failing to gain a qualifying spot, he had outshone every other veteran and rookie for this PMNC season as one of the strongest players.

Eugene Chin, Country Manager (Malaysia) of Tencent Games, said, "It is exciting to see the amazing talents that have risen to the ranks through this tournament. The PUBG MOBILE National Championship was established to nurture local talent and open doors for them to compete internationally. Congratulations to all the winners and good luck for the PMSL SEA Fall 2025 Tournament."
