If you're a fan of Dark Souls or God of War-esque games, you're in for a treat - Mortal Shell has just announced their open beta phase for PC.
Cold Symmetry brings a new take on the genre, allowing you to control different bodies, or "shells", which have unique powers and weapons, while attempting to navigate a dark and medieval setting filled with grotesque monsters and spine-chilling bosses.
The open beta allows you to roam a small portion of the Fallgrim area, where you will be able to get a taste of the difficulty of the game, as well as gauge an idea on the controls and battle mechanics of different bosses and monsters. The graphics look amazing and realistic, and there is not much left to be desired in the controls and combat department - definitely a worthwhile game for its intended price point of $13.99 (~RM60).
Mortal Shell is scheduled to be released on the Epic Games Store, PS4, and Xbox One late this year, with an eventual Steam release in 2021. You can sign up for the beta on Mortal Shell's Epic Games Store page.
