Ahead of CES 2022, Samsung has revealed a teaser video of its vision of "Together for Tomorrow", featuring "aliens going about mysterious tasks behind a frosted window", foreshadowing the big announcement.
While the teaser video doesn't reveal much about what's about to come, the global page of Samsung Newsroom has unveiled some upcoming monitors - the Samsung Odyssey Neo G8, Smart Monitor M8, and High Resolution Monitor S8.
Samsung Odyssey Neo G8
Two months ago, the Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 was only open for pre-order in Malaysia, and Samsung's still giving discounts for the monitor. Its new sibling, the Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 is a relatively smaller monitor coming with a 32" 4K curved display. It has a 240Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, and a 1000000:1 contrast ratio. It also supports Samsung's Quantum mini LEDs and Quantum HDR 2000 with a peak brightness of 2000 nits.
Samsung Smart Monitor M8
The Smart Monitor M8 is a 32" flat monitor that measures only 11.4mm thickness. It supports UHD, 99% of the sRGB colour gamut, and 400 nits of brightness. It comes with a movable magnetic SlimFit Cam for a built-in video call application and a USB Type-C port that supports 65W charging.
Samsung High Resolution Monitor S8
Lastly, the Samsung High Resolution Monitor S8 comes in 27" and 32" sizes with a Matte Display that reduces light reflection. It supports UHD and covers up to 98% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut for creators and designers. It also features USB Type-C 90W charging and LAN ports.
