Earlier this year, Samsung unveiled a new gaming monitor lineup, comprised of the Odyssey G9 and G7 QLED gaming monitors. The Odyssey G7 was recently launched and is expected to hit stores very soon.
Samsung claims that the G7 will be the world's first 1000R gaming monitor; the prefix indicates the screen's curvature radius of 1,000mm.
The QLED display will feature a WQHD 2560 x 1440 screen resolution, 1ms response time, as well as a speedy 240Hz refresh rate. It is TÜV Rheinland certified, and will support both NVIDIA G-Sync as well as Adaptive Sync on DP1.4.
Aesthetics-wise, the G7 is no slouch either, with a sleek, matte black exterior and a colour-changing lighting core on the rear. As for size, you'll be able to choose between 27" and 32" models.
Samsung Malaysia has confirmed that the Odyssey G7 will be making its way to our shores soon, but the prices and launch date has yet to be revealed, so stay tuned!
