Today, Samsung Malaysia announced that One UI 4 will officially roll out on the Galaxy S21 series 5G, including the Galaxy S21 5G, Galaxy S21+ 5G, and Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G starting tomorrow.
One UI 4 introduces new Colour Palettes for users to customise the look and feel of the UI from the home screen to icons, menu, button, and background. Widgets are reimagined to offer deeper customisation. The new update also sees a wider variety of emoji features, GIFs, and stickers available directly from the keyboard.
For privacy and security, the phone will now send you an alert when an app attempts to access your camera or microphone. There will also be a new privacy dashboard that groups all the settings and controls in one place.
Samsung has partnered up with Google for users to enjoy third-party apps like Google Duo seamlessly. They will get a uniformed look across devices like a Galaxy Fold, Galaxy Watch, and Galaxy Tab.
One UI 4 will be arriving for the Galaxy S21 series 5G starting from 25 November and will be available on Galaxy S and Note series as well as Galaxy A series. Foldables and tablets will also be receiving the update. On another note, the Galaxy Watch series receives a new software update today, featuring enhanced health features and new watch faces.
