During the Unpacked event last night, Samsung also launched the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ alongside the S22 Ultra.
Like the S22 Ultra, both devices also have the same advanced nightography features that can produce clear photos at night. Both the S22 and S22+ sport a triple rear camera unit comprising a 50MP main camera, a 10MP telephoto camera, and a 12MP ultrawide camera.
Equipped with a 4nm processor, the S22's 3700mAh battery supports 25W fast charging while the S22+'s 4500mAh battery supports 45W super-fast charging. Using a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, the S22 has a 6.1" screen whereas the S22+ has a 6.6" screen. The former has 1300 nits of peak brightness while the latter has 1750 nits of peak brightness. Both also have a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz of touch sampling rate.
Coming in Phantom Black, Phantom White, Green, and Pink Gold, both models are made with armor aluminum and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+. The Galaxy S22 series' component key bracket contains 20% recycled ocean-bound plastic from discarded fishing nets. Its packaging is made of 100% recycled paper.
