Samsung is Bringing Select One UI 3.1 Features to Galaxy S20 Series and More

Samsung has announced that the One UI 3.1 update will be making its way to the Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy Note20 series, and several other older phones with select features. The update was previously released for the Galaxy S21 series.

Among the features that are being introduced to the older phones include camera and photo-related features like the improved Single Take, touch autofocus and auto-exposure controller, the new Object eraser tool, and an updated Gallery.


Users of those phones can also expect to see the One UI 3.1’s Eye Comfort Shield mode, which adjusts blue light automatically based on the time of day, and the ability to remove metadata concerning photos’ locations or use Private Share.

Additionally, the One UI 3.1 update will introduce the new Multi Mic Recording feature to the older phones. Other features include support for the Galaxy Buds Pro’s 360 Audio and the Galaxy Buds Pro, Buds Live and Buds+’s Auto Switch.


Aside from the previously mentioned phones, devices that will get the update include the Z Fold2, Z Flip, S10, Note 10, Fold, A71, A51, A90, A80, A70, and A50. Samsung says that the update is available starting from today, with availability potentially varying depending on region and carrier.
