Released on 28 July, Samsung's Unpacked Official Trailer showcases the evolution of mobile technology over the decades. The official trailer has hit 100 million views on YouTube.
"The film challenges the status quo, suggesting that after a decade of incremental improvements to the smartphone, which all increasingly look and work the same, it’s time for consumers to ‘get ready to unfold’ something radically better with the new Galaxy device launching at Unpacked," said the press release.
In conjunction with the Unpacked event, Samsung has launched the #UnfoldChallenge on TikTok on 28 July, teaming up with BTS, Millie Bobby Brown, and 7 global influencers. The video views of the hashtag challenge have hit 184 million as of 4 August.
The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2021 will be streamed live on 11 August at 10pm. Fans can tune in to the live event on Samsung's official website, Samsung Malaysia YouTube, Samsung Malaysia Facebook page, and Samsung Malaysia Newsroom.
Additionally, fans can register here to redeem an additional RM300 Samsung e-voucher which can be used after the pre-order of the next Galaxy.
