Samsung has officially unveiled the latest entry in its flagship tablet lineup, the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S11! Packed with a sleeker design, brighter display, and upgraded performance, this tablet aims to deliver a premium experience whether you’re working, studying, or simply enjoying entertainment on the go. In this review, we’ll be diving into the Tab S11’s design, display, performance, and battery life to see how it measures up as Samsung’s most refined tablet yet.

Design

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 comes in a sophisticated design alongside its ultra-slim and lightweight profile, which offers both elegance and comfort when it is being held. The refined appearance of the tablet is also enhanced with its slim bezels, which further elevates the appeal of the device.

The Galaxy Tab S11 is currently available in two different colour variants for users to select from, Gray and Silver. Despite the limiting choices, both variants are stylish and will surely be able to appeal to its users.

The Galaxy Tab S11 has a thickness of 5.5mm while also weighing up to 471 grams, showcasing its slim and lightweight design. Not only that, but the device is also the sleekest tablet that Samsung has released as of now. This makes the device easier to carry around from place to place without much difficulty.

The tablet doesn’t just have a premium design, it also comes with durability, featuring an enhanced Armour Aluminium frame in order to handle accidental drops and falls better. The device also features an IP68 Water and Dust resistance, ensuring that the device would be kept safe from dust or water splashes.

Further adding to the experience would be that the tablet also comes with a new S Pen when purchased. This addition complements the tablet’s portability and practicality, allowing users to be able to write on the device without worrying about fingerprints marks on your screen.

Display

The Galaxy Tab S11 features a stunning 11-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, paired up nicely with a 2560 x 1600 resolution, delivering vibrant colours and sharp details which make it a great choice for streaming, watching videos and even gaming. This is paired nicely with the device’s slim bezels, which create a more immersive and modern viewing experience for users.

In addition to this, the display also comes with a 120Hz refresh rate, which ensures smooth visuals and responsive scrolling whether you’re browsing social media or gaming. Also, the device features a 1600 nits peak brightness which ensures clear and vivid viewing even outdoors under bright sunlight. This is an improvement compared to the Galaxy Tab S9.

Hardware

Powering this device is the cutting-edge 3nm processor which helps to deliver stunning graphics, smooth multitasking as well as next-level speed for its users. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 is powered by a sizable 8,400mAh battery, which ensures that it will be able to provide incredible endurance throughout the whole day, whether it's for entertainment or productivity. The device is also able to last up to 18 hours of video playback on just a single charge, which makes it a reliable companion for streaming marathons, long work sessions, or travel days without needing to constantly reach for the charger.

I decided to conduct a test in order to measure the battery consumption for the tablet after an hour of video playback as well as for gaming. For the gaming test, I chose the popular open-world RPG game, Wuthering Waves. After an hour, the Galaxy Tab S11 managed to record up to a 20% of battery drainage while gaming.

Moving onwards to the video playback test, I also conducted a one hour test for the Galaxy Tab S11, watching a YouTube video at 1440p. After one hour, the results show that the battery only drained 12% of the battery, which is impressive and is a benefit for users who enjoy watching videos for prolonged periods.

It doesn’t just come with a large battery, the tablet also supports a 45W Super Fast Charging to let you get back to your tasks in an instant. Also, I decided to measure the charging speed for the device, and in 30 minutes, the Galaxy Tab S11 was able to reach 41% while it was able to fully charge in 87 minutes, which is impressive considering its large battery size.

Priced at RM3,599, the Galaxy Tab S11 is definitely a device worth considering, especially for those looking for a versatile and refined tablet.
