Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 First Impression

Samsung has recently launched their brand new Galaxy Tab series in Malaysia, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11! The latest Galaxy Tab S11 series comes with a premium appearance and powerful features which makes this device stand out. We were able to get our hands on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 and here is our first impressions on this new device.

Design

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 features a sleek and lightweight design in comparison to its predecessors, and it measures at 5.5mm thickness while also weighing up to 471 grams. In addition, the device also comes with slimmer bezels than before, making the tablet feel more modern and comfortable to hold, whether you’re working on the go.

Furthermore, the tablet is also equipped with the new S Pen, which complements the tablet’s portability and practicality, allowing users to be able to write on the device and easily scroll through their screen without the worry of fingerprint marks.

The Galaxy Tab S11 is available in two different colour choices for users to choose from, Gray and Silver, and the variant that I received is the Gray variant.

Display

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 features an 11-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display that instantly impresses with its rich colors and deep contrast. It also comes with a 120Hz refresh rate to provide users with a smoother experience. 

The Galaxy Tab S11 comes with a peak brightness up to 1600 nits, allowing the screen to remain clear and even when used outdoors, offering a noticeable improvement over the Galaxy Tab S9. 

Performance

When looking at the performance for the Galaxy Tab S11, the device features a cutting-edge 3nm processor, which ensures smooth performances across everyday tasks, with greater speeds and faster responsiveness in the tablet. Not only that, the S11 also comes with a 12GB of RAM paired with up to 256GB of storage, ensuring that users will be able to store plenty of files internally.

AI Features

Aside from its stunning performances, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 also comes with amazing AI features, and with Galaxy AI powering the device, it will help to benefit users, but also help carry out and make their tasks feel much easier to handle, such as Gemini Live, Writing Assist and Drawing Assist. These features help users be able to easily create texts and even sketch things out with no issues.

Samsung DeX

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 also comes with the Samsung DeX feature, allowing users to easily multitask as it supports up to four workspaces, and users will also be able to freely move between apps and windows across different screens for an easier and smoother workflow.

Battery

Moving over to the battery for the device, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 comes with a powerful 8,400mAh battery, which is a very impressive feature. In fact, users will be able to watch up to 18 hours of video playback while using this device. And when it’s time to recharge, the tablet supports a 45W Super Fast Charging to let you get back to your tasks. Also, the device is able to reach from 0 to 100% in around 88 minutes, which is very good considering its large battery size.

Verdict

Overall, my first impression of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 can be noted to be positive, and it definitely has many impressive features, a refined design and solid performances that will be able to appeal to both casual users and professionals alike.
