Samsung's back at it again with the Fan Edition tablet, and this time we have the bigger Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+. Right out the box, it's pretty obvious that this one is built for those who's looking to do more with a bigger screen. If you’ve been hunting for a tablet that can double as your work companion, creative canvas, or binge-watching machine, this FE+ model might just be the all-rounder that you can consider.

Bigger Display, Bigger Potential
The first thing that really caught my eye is the massive 13.1-inch screen, which is even bigger than its standard sibling and predecessor model, which are both 12.4-inch. Whether you’re editing videos, sketching, or working with two apps side-by-side, this is the kind of space that makes multitasking feel less like a compromise and more like a breeze.

Even though it’s LCD and not AMOLED, the display still delivers good colour and brightness, along with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. Not quite flagship-tier, but definitely smooth enough for day-to-day stuff like scrolling, reading, or watching YouTube. If you’ve been stuck on a 60Hz display, the bump is definitely noticeable.

For Malaysians who spend a lot of time on the go, from cafe work sessions to movie marathons before sleep, that extra screen real estate really comes in handy. It’s definitely one of the biggest tablets in its price range.
Mid-Range Chip, Sufficient for Everyday Power
The Tab S10 FE+ runs on Samsung’s own Exynos 1580 chipset. It’s not Samsung’s most powerful chip, but for everyday multitasking, browsing, video calls, and even some light gaming, it should be more than enough to ensure a smooth experience. Paired with up to 12GB of RAM and storage options up to 256GB, plus a microSD expansion of up to 2TB, you’re well covered for work, play, and everything in between.

And if you're someone who often work on the go, but still prefer a laptop-like typing experience, like I always do, Samsung’s DeX Mode plus the new Bluetooth keyboard could make this a very decent work setup. We’ll see if we can try that out properly in the full review, but on paper, it does looks promising.

All-Day Battery with Fast Charging
With a 10,900mAh battery under the hood and support for 45W fast charging, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ should comfortably last through long days. Considering our typical Malaysian usage — some light editing, a few Zoom calls, lots of WhatsApp Web, and maybe sneaking in a bit of gaming, this tablet looks ready to keep up.

Built for Productivity, and a Bit of Fun
As for the cameras, there’s a decent 13MP rear cam and a 12MP ultrawide front camera. Nothing too fancy, but enough for some quick snaps, documents scans and Zoom calls. Apparently the new "Best Face" is also available, which seems a little bit off as I don't really expect anyone to snap portraits with it.

Samsung also put in some AI-powered features like “Note Assist” and “Circle to Search,” which could be useful for students or those who take lots of notes. And yes — the S Pen is included, but it’s the basic version without Bluetooth. Still, for doodling or notes-taking, it’s a handy tool to have without needing to pay extra.

Talking about notes-taking, the upgraded Notes app also comes Solve Math and Handwriting Help. As literal as it means, you have the AI to helps you solving handwritten complex math equations and improving your handwritten text for improved visibility, which are pretty quality-of-life upgrades to have. Are all these AI groundbreaking? We’ll see when we tested it out in our full review, and for now, it’s good to have.
Price and Promotion
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ comes in 2 variants, the Wi-Fi model for RM2,799 and the 5G model for RM3,299. For this price, it isn’t exactly cheap, but if you consider what you’re getting — a big-screen tablet with solid features and productivity tools, it definitely offers decent value, especially if you grab it during the early bird promo and trade-in deal.

From now until 7th May, you can reserve a RM200 e-voucher for only RM20, which you can use for your upcoming Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ purchase. When it officially goes on sale, there is also a promotion from 8th May to 15th June, where you will be able to get a free ITFIT Book Cover Keyboard (worth up to RM 499) and a RM200 Instant Trade-In Rebate.

First Thoughts
So far, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ looks pretty much a well-balanced tablet aimed at folks who want a solid device without splurging on a flagship. Whether you’re a student, creative, or just someone who likes watching shows on a big display, this one might just hit the sweet spot.

We’ll reserve our final verdict in our full review once we've actually spent more time with it, but for now, the Tab S10 FE+ is looking like a strong contender in the mid-range tablet space. Stay tuned for the full review!
