This new AI smartphone not only serves as an entryway for users to try out the new Galaxy AI features, but also be able to use the wide range of incredible features that the Galaxy S25 series offers at a more accessible price. In this review article, we’ll be taking a closer look at this device, and addressing the phone’s overall design, display, camera, AI features, performance as well as battery life in order to showcase why this device is a gateway to Galaxy AI for users!

Design
The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE showcases its design with its ultra-slim and lightweight design which has a comfortable and elegant feel even when holding it. Complementing its sleek design, the device comes with a wide range of colour options for consumers to choose from to best suit their lifestyle and personality: Navy, Icyblue, Jetblack and White.

The Galaxy S25 FE comes with a 7.4mm thickness while also weighing 190 grams, making it the thinnest and lightest FE phone that has been released as of now. The device also comes with the slimmest bezels to date, ensuring that users will have an easier and more comfortable time holding the phone.

Besides that, the smartphone also showcases strong durability despite its sleek design as it comes equipped with the Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus® 2 while it is also framed with an Enhanced Armor Aluminium build, increasing the drop resistance of the device. Asides from that, the Galaxy S25 FE also comes with an IP68 water and dust resistance, ensuring that users will not have to worry about water or dust entering the device.

Display
The Galaxy S25 FE comes with an incredible 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2x display which delivers both smooth and detailed viewing experiences with both vivid and vibrant colours creating an immersive viewing experience for users. Additionally, the screen’s peak brightness is up to 1900 nits, which is more than enough for a pleasant viewing experience while under the sun.

Also, with a refresh rate of 120Hz, you will be able to enjoy gaming sessions as well as easily scroll through social media with ease.
Camera

When looking at the camera features for the Galaxy S25 FE, it offers users with a ProVisual Engine, utilising AI in order to enhance the photos that you have taken. This matches well with the device’s impressive 50MP primary lens which is paired together with a 12MP Ultrawide camera and a 8MP telephoto camera, allowing you to capture stunning images with incredible detail even in low-light situations.
Performance
The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE also doesn’t leave any shortcomings for its performance as it is powered by the Exynos 2400, Samsung’s latest flagship-grade processor, the device is built to handle everything from demanding mobile games to heavy multitasking with ease. Not only that, the device also comes with up to 8GB RAM with up to a total of 512GB of storage space.
In addition to this, the Galaxy S25 FE also offers a Game Booster mode which allows users to enjoy a better gaming experience while playing on the device. In Game Booster mode, users will be able to choose through three different optimisation options, Performance, Balanced and Battery Saver, depending on the user’s preference. This feature is definitely a game-changer and it makes every gaming session more enjoyable.

AI Features
When looking at the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE, it serves as a gateway for users in order to better understand and as an opportunity for users to learn about the AI features that the Galaxy S25 series has to offer, especially with the Galaxy AI powering the device. As a result, users will be able to carry out and make their tasks feel much easier to handle, such as Gemini Live, Photo Assist, Audio Eraser and Instant Slow-Mo. These features ensure that users will have a better experience whether it’s for refining audio quality, editing pictures or even conducting searches online.

Meanwhile, the Now Bar feature offers the same content as Now Brief, but makes it accessible directly from your lock screen, allowing you to check updates without unlocking your phone for added convenience.

Gemini Live
Gemini Live is another powerful AI feature designed to assist users by providing information and insights on virtually any topic. Whether you’re simply curious about something or studying for your classes, you can speak directly to Gemini Live to get the answers you need.
What makes it even more convenient is that every conversation is saved, so if you happen to miss something, you can revisit the entire exchange at any time for your own ease and reference.
Audio Eraser
Another Galaxy AI feature that comes in the Galaxy S25 FE is the Audio Eraser feature. It allows users to remove unwanted background noise from videos and adjust audio levels to achieve clear, crisp sound. This makes it especially useful for those who enjoy filming in public spaces or creating vlogs.

The Galaxy S25 FE’s Photo Assist feature gives users the freedom to express their creativity without limits, whether it’s enhancing their shots with refined details, experimenting with edits, or seamlessly removing unwanted objects and people to create polished, professional-looking photos every time.
Browsing Assist
With the Browsing Assist feature, it helps make online reading smarter and more efficient by allowing users to go through long articles in less time as it can summarise key points and even translate entire web pages directly through Samsung Internet, it ensures you get the details you’re looking for without unnecessary hassle.

With Instant Slo-Mo, the Galaxy S25 FE lets you transform any video into one-touch, super-smooth slow motion, making it effortless to capture dramatic moments and relive them in stunning detail.

Circle to Search
The Galaxy S25 FE also comes with the Circle to Search feature, allowing you to instantly look up anything you circle on your screen, whether it’s a product, landmark, or even text.
Battery
The Samsung Galaxy S25 features a powerful 4900mAh battery, which is the largest in the FE series, and users can be assured that the smartphone will be able to last the entire day without any fear of the phone running out of battery. In fact, users will be able to enjoy up to 28 hours of video playback with this device.

I decided to test out the phone’s battery life with an hour-long gaming session on the popular MOBA game, Honor of Kings. While playing the game, a total of 13% of the battery was consumed in that hour, and this is while the phone was set to Performance mode, and with the game set to have Ultra Resolution, set to the maximum FPS, UHD graphics quality setting, while also in Performance Mode as well.

Aside from just gaming, I also conducted a test to measure the battery life of the device by watching YouTube videos at 1440p for an hour long. The results showed that the phone’s battery life was only drained by 11% after an hour.

In addition to this, the device also comes with a 45W Fast Charging while also supporting a 15W wireless charging and this will ensure users will be able to use their devices again in an instant. In fact, when testing out the charging speed of the device, the Galaxy S25 FE was able to reach 68% in just 30 minutes while fully charging in just 67 minutes, which is an impressive feat.
Verdict

In conclusion, the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE delivers flagship-level performance with its Exynos 2400 processor, next-gen gaming visuals, and enhanced cooling system. Coupled with its sleek design and reliable features, it stands out as an excellent choice for users who want premium power at a more accessible price point. Thus, if you’re considering an upgrade, the Galaxy S25 FE is definitely something worth considering, especially if you’re looking for an AI companion.
