Samsung Announces Galaxy Book2 Pro Series at MWC 2022

Samsung's announcement at MWC 2022 introduced us to the Galaxy Book2 Pro and Galaxy Book2 Pro 360, each coming in two sizes at 13.3" and 15.6".

The Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 is available in a 13.3" model weighing just 1.04kg and a 15." model weighing 1.41kg. Both models come with an AMOLED display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution and 400 nits of brightness. HDR content can go up to 500 nits of brightness.


It is powered by up to the 12th gen Intel Core i7 processor along with up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM. It also includes Intel's latest Arc Alchemist discrete GPU. Ports-wise, it has a Thunderbolt 4 port, 2 USB-C ports, a headphone jack, and a microSD port.

Underneath the hood of the 13.3" model is a 63Wh battery while the 15.6" model gets a slightly bigger 68Wh battery, supporting up to 65W charging. Samsung promises up to 21 hours of battery life from the Book2 Pro 360. Like the previous edition, it is compatible with Samsung's S Pen with less latency and supports Samsung Notes, which works across all Samsung devices.

While most of the specs of the Book2 Pro are the same as the Book2 Pro 360, it offers a different array of ports. The 13.3" variant has a Thunderbolt 4 port, a USB-C port, a full-sized USB-A 3.2 port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroSD slot. Meanwhile, the 15.6" variant has an additional HDMI port and 5G connectivity.


The Galaxy Book2 Pro series is available in Silver and Graphite, and the 360 model has another Burgundy color option. The Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 will cost US$1,249.99 (~RM5,253), while the Galaxy Book2 Pro will be available for US$1,049.99 (~RM4,412).
