Samsung Announces Availability of Sleep Apnea Feature in Malaysia on Galaxy Watch Series!

Sleep Apnea feature is now available on the Galaxy Watch series, through the Samsung Health Monitor app.
Samsung’s Sleep Apnea feature continues to expand globally, following its Medical Device Registration Certificate approval from Malaysia’s Medical Device Authority, confirming compliance with strict health, safety, and environmental standards. It has also been approved by Australia’s Therapeutic Goods Administration and Singapore’s Health Sciences Authority.
This milestone builds on Samsung’s earlier U.S. FDA De Novo authorization — the first for a wearable to detect moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea — along with approvals from Korea’s MFDS, Brazil’s ANVISA, and Health Canada.
By integrating advanced sleep-tracking technology and personalized coaching, Samsung aims to help users identify symptoms early and improve overall sleep health, further solidifying its leadership in sleep innovation.
