Rockstar Games, known for the popular Grand Theft Auto (GTA) series, were rumoured to be releasing remastered versions of GTA 4 and Red Dead Redemption.
However, according to @TesFunz2 on Twitter, his source stated that Rockstar had decided not to proceed with the plans.
The potential reason behind this decision is the poor reception of the GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition, which launched in November 2021 and received a poor reception due to its unpolished and unfinished state.
The studio might not want to focus on remasters after that controversy, as well as want to focus on developing GTA 6.
