OPPO Find N2 Flip
Price: RM3999
As promised, min min will be reviewing the OPPO's newest flip smartphone with the largest cover screen and an almost invisible crease, the OPPO Find N2 Flip. Let’s head straight away into the review without wasting any more time!
Design
First of all, the OPPO Find N2 Flip is available in two color choices: Moonlit Purple and Astral Black, both colors use different materials. The Moonlit Purple appears to be covered with polished material whereas Astral Black comes in a matte back with some shimmering particles as a finish.
The frame of the Find N2 Flip paired with the rounded edge covers makes it comfortable to hold onto, even when unfolded, it feels really compact and slim at the same time.
Speaking of the hinge on the Find N2 Flip, OPPO uses a glossy metallic on the hinge which elevates the appearance of the device, putting together with the water pattern design carvings on the hinge, making it more premium when unfolded.
Display
One of the best features of the Find N2 Flip is the cover display. It sports a 3.26-inch, 60Hz refresh rate massive vertical cover screen on a flip smartphone. It allows users to play around with the large cover screen, with amazing time-saving features like a timer, notification status, camera app, weather forecast, timer, recorder, calendar and more.
Even setting up a Bitmoji, GIF, or the new interactive digital pets can be displayed on the cover screen of the Find N2 Flip. The thing is you will need to unlock your device before doing it.
Despite the cover screen only storing limited widgets at the same time, there are also useful features like the quick reply feature to allow users to reply with preset messages or emojis without unfolding the device, offering a true foldable experience.
On the other hand, the 6.8-inches AMOLED inner display supports up to 120Hz refresh rate, flanked by an FHD+ resolution (2520 x 1080) display, which is certified by the TÜV Rhineland’s lab tests that can withstand even after 400,000 folds on the Find N2 Flip!
Most importantly, the “invisible crease” on the Find N2 Flip is possible thanks to the industry-leading waterdrop hinge, making it strong and slim, with seamless foldings on the screen which is a pleasure to look at, feels like the bump never exists.
Camera
The Find N2 Flip was no exception as most of the foldable devices in the competition still rocking with a dual-camera setup. It is equipped with a 50MP Main Camera and an 8MP Ultra-wide Angle Camera.
Both cameras are supported by OPPO’s MariSilicon X Imaging NPU chipset to deliver a crispy imaging experience. As a result, the pictures taken on the Find N2 Flip appear to be more visually appealing with dazzling colors that pleased your eyes.
You can also use the Find N2 Flip Flexform Mode, where you fold the device ranging from 50° to 120°, to use it alongside the cover screen for taking perfect selfies. Note that the hinge will automatically close itself if you extend further than the ideal angle.
Performance
The Find N2 Flip is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ flagship chipset that uses less power whilst offering the best performance for gaming. Not only that, the Find N2 Flip equips 8GB LPDDR5 RAM + 256GB UFS 3.1 storage to offer better consistency on the go.
Also, it supports the RAM Expansion feature which goes another additional 8GB RAM on the Find N2 Flip if you need to run heavy loads of apps.
Moreover, the Find N2 Flip houses a 4300mAh large battery capacity for the foldable class, in addition to a 44W SUPERVOOC Fast Charge support which improved the sustainability of a foldable device and a fast charging experience to keep your battery health in check.
Buy or no buy?
Not gonna lie, when the OPPO released its latest OPPO Find N2 Flip, my urge to own a foldable device becomes stronger than ever due to how good it is. The massive cover screen, unnoticeable crease, most durable hinge, and the customizations on the cover display are just too attractive.
Another thing to add would be the price of the OPPO Find N2 Flip, which is currently priced at RM3999 sounded like a bargain to me. Just think of the designs and the most anticipated features on the Find N2 Flip, how can you decline such a fascinating offer?
