Redmi K50 Gaming Edition Officially Launched in China

Xiaomi has recently launched the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition in China with a starting price of 3,299 Yuan (~RM2,182). The new flagship device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, coupled with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage.

Featuring a 6.67" OLED FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 480Hz touch sampling rate, the phone supports HDR10+ as well as MEMC and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. The front display also houses a 20MP Sony IMX596 selfie camera. On the other side, the triple rear camera module consists of a 64MP Sony IMX686 main camera, an 8MP 12ultrawide camera, and a 2MP telemacro camera.


Running MIUI 13 based on Android 12, it is backed by a 4700mAh battery that supports 120W wired charging, which is said to be capable of charging the device up to 100% in just 17 minutes.

The Redmi K50 Gaming Edition is available with the following variants:

  • 8GB of RAM + 128GB of storage: 3,299 Yuan (~RM2,182)

  • 12GB of RAM + 128GB of storage: 3,599 Yuan (~RM2,381)

  • 12GB of RAM + 256GB of storage: 3,899 Yuan (~RM2,579)

Additionally, Xiaomi has released 10,000 limited units of a Champion Edition priced at 4,199 Yuan (~RM2,778) with 12GB of RAM + 256GB of storage.
