Rockstar saves the day by making account transfers possible.

The good news for Red Dead Online players on Stadia is they will be able to transfer progress from Stadia to other platforms. @ItsColourTV, the platform's premiere RDO player has tweeted about the responses he got from Rockstar games which got confirmation that progress will be transferred.

Colour has over 6,000 hours of playtime in Red Dead Online on Stadia. When Google announced that they will shut down Stadia cloud gaming services, the RDO community was trying to help out Colour so that he won't lose out on all progress.

Though many suggestions provided are very time-consuming and unstable, the best thing they could hope for was Rockstar lending a hand in this situation.

It's nice to see developers taking action to transfer saved data from Stadia to other platforms. The Elder Scrolls Online sent emails to all Stadia users outlining how to take up where they left off.
