While everyone's focusing on the recent CES, realme has launched its GT 2 series a few days ago with a vanilla GT 2 model and a flagship GT 2 Pro.
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, the GT 2 Pro packs a 6.7" LPTO 2.0 AMOLED display with a QHD+ resolution, a 1000Hz touch sampling rate, and a 1 - 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Protected by Corning Gorilla Victus, the screen has 10bit colors and HDR10+ certification. It is also equipped with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. For photography, it houses a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor with OIS, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide shooter with a 150° field of view, and a microscope lens that can zoom up to 40x.
On the other hand, the GT 2 model uses a Snapdragon 888 processor. It features a 6.62" AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. It also has the same 50MP main sensor as the GT 2 Pro but is paired with an ultrawide snapper and a macro camera.
Running Android 12 with Realme UI 3.0 on top, the GT 2 series packs a 5000mAh battery that supports 65W charging. It comes in four color variants: Paper White, Paper Green, Steel Black, and Titanium Blue. According to realme, the Paper White and Paper Green models come with a specially developed bio-based polymer back material that mimics the feel of paper.
