Focus Entertainment and Tindalos Interactive have released a gameplay overview trailer for the upcoming RTS game, Aliens: Dark Descent. The game will launch for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on June 21, 2023.
Players will be leading a squad of hardened Colonial Marines on the Planet Lethe to stop the xenomorph outbreak. As a commander, you should manage your squad's choice of weapon to alter the environments to deal with hostiles like flamethrowers, suppressive fire, and sentry guns.
In addition, the xenomorphs will adapt to the player's behaviors and actions in each run. Therefore, players will have to come out with multiple strategies to explore the extensive, open, and persistent levels, while managing the squad's health and stress levels.
When a marine dies when clearing objectives, they will be permanently dead. However, you will be able to recruit new marines when you finished the levels and return to the ship Otago, a place where you develop new gears and tech to battle against Facehuggers, Alien Queens, and more.
