Ragnarok X: Next Generation, an officially licensed 3D mobile MMORPG game based on Ragnarok Online, has launched in nine Southeast Asian countries, and several events are being held to celebrate the launch.
There’s Landmark Lighting, in which players from each country collaborate to complete missions to “‘light up’ their country’s landmarks” and earn 150k crystals worth of exclusive rewards; King of MVP, where players have a chance to win a Glorious Legend title by earning points in MVP or Miniboss fights through their performance; and Glory Pass, where completing daily missions will earn players a Motorbike Mount and biker suit, as well as other rewards including gift boxes, items, and EXP.
There are also three limited time SEA-themed items to get, such as a Plai Kaew Elephant mount, a Kinnaree Crown, and a Nusantara Mask. The steps involved in obtaining these prizes are found in players’ respective versions of the game.
Ragnarok X: Next Generation offers a modern graphical take on the classes, monsters, cities, and locations of the original, along with a free 3D camera. The game content includes dungeon bosses to take on with parties and guilds, PvP battles in Guildwars, a Marriage system, and a camera feature. There is also a new Amusement Park with merry-go-rounds, roller-coasters, and ferry wheels near South Gate to check out.
