Four Ragnarok Tournaments Concludes at Ragnarok Festa 2025!

While Ragnarok Festa 2025 served as an event for fans to celebrate the Ragnarok franchise, there was another event which happening on the sidelines which took place within RO Festa 2025, four events in particular to say, and those were the tournaments which coincided with the day of Ragnarok Festa 2025! 

Here’s a quick rundown of the four tournaments that were held, namely Ragnarok Stars (ROS), Ragnarok Online Classic Championship (ROCC), The Ragnarok Championship (TRC), and Ragnarok Landverse Championship (ROLC).

After the opening speech was conducted by Yoshinori Kitamura, it was finally time for all four tournaments to take place, as teams from across the region battled it out for the prizes and for the ultimate glory!

After battling it out for many hours throughout the day, the final few teams were given a chance to have a break as well as time to strategise with the tournament slowly coming to a close, with performances by Thai pop group, PiXXie, making an appearance to reinvigorate the crowd.

And once the performances were concluded, the action resumed with all four tournaments reaching its end. The first tournament to conclude on the night was Ragnarok Stars (ROS). The tournament featured a total of 6 teams in total and fought in a Best-of-3 double elimination bracket.

In the end, Morning Stars emerged victorious in the end after a hard-fought final against RELENTLESS. Coming in third on the night was Enthusiasm Gallant. The tournament featured a prize pool of USD 65,000 with the winning team (Morning Star) getting a lions’ share of the money, earning USD 30,000 while second and third place got USD 20,000 and USD 15,000 respectively.

The second tournament to conclude was the Ragnarok Online Classic Championship (ROCC). The tournament had a double elimination-style bracket with a Best-of-5 format except for the Grand Final, which played a Best-of-7 format.

This was a tournament that featured only four teams, making it the shortest tournament between the four. Though, even if that were the case, the battles were just as heated as the others.

And the finals saw TROY claiming the championship in a heart-thumping 4–3 victory over BRUTAL, beating their opposition after being 3-1 down after the 4th match. SYNCHRO settled for third and the USD 4,000 prize, while BRUTAL earned their runners-up prize of USD 8,000.

The third tournament to reach its end was The Ragnarok Championship (TRC), with 6 teams competing in a double elimination bracket with Best-of-3 matches up until the Upper Bracket and Lower Bracket semi-finals, which were played in Bo5 matches. And the Grand Finals were played in a Best-of-7 styled match.

After several long and grueling matches that went down to the wire, it was team iCeCreamYummy who secured first place after they managed to overcome BEEANNFAA in the finals, taking home USD 15,000 of the prize pool, while the runners-up earned USD 7,000. NARCOS also bravely fought to claim the third place seeding, getting the USD 3,000 prize with them.

The final tournament to conclude on the night, was the Ragnarok Landverse Championship (RLC). This tournament featured a total of six teams competing in double-elimination Best-of-3 matches up till the Upper and Lower Bracket Finals. While the Grand Finals were played in a Best-of-5 format. 

And in terms of the prize pool, there’s no denying that this tournament came with the largest share of it, with over USD 300,000 in total prizes!

After battling it till close to midnight, it was Team WhySo who emerged victorious after an intense final against HiEnd, claiming victory on the day. And celebrating their podium finish was team iHere who got themselves third. WhySo earned themselves USD 123,800 in total prizes, while the first and second runner-up went home with USD 49,500 and iHere got USD 30,900 in total prizes.

These four tournaments ended up serving as the final event for Ragnarok Festa 2025, rounding out all the activities as the celebrations went out. Although, it was safe to say that there would be disappointed individuals after the events of the tournament, the event as a whole ended up serving as a massive success, with the tournament ending in a grand manner.
