PUBG: Battlegrounds will soon be free to play on PC and consoles starting from 12 January 2022. The game will come in two tiers: Basic Account and Battlegrounds Plus. The free version will "offer access to most game features" while the latter will include a ranked mode and other benefits with a US$12.99 (~RM54) one-time fee.
The Battlegrounds Plus benefits are:
Bonus 1,300 G-COIN
Survival Masters XP + 100 percent boost
Career - Medal tab
Ranked Mode
Custom Match functionality
In-Game items, including the Captain’s Camo set (hat, camo mask, and camo gloves)
Players who have paid for the game previously will automatically join the Battlegrounds Plus and receive a Special Commemorative Pack, which includes the Battle-Hardened costume skin set, the Shackle and Shanks Legacy Pan, and the Battle-Hardened Legacy nameplate.
