POCO Launches POCO F3 and POCO X3 Pro Flagships

POCO has launched two new flagship phones, the 5G-capable Snapdragon 870-powered POCO F3 and the Snapdragon 860-powered POCO X3 Pro.

The 7.8mm thin and 196g heavy POCO F3 features a 6.67" E4 AMOLED DotDisplay with a 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. Aside from a peak brightness of 1,300 nits, the phone’s display boasts HDR10+ certification, MEMC tech, True Display and True Color, and 15% lower power consumption than the last-generation E3 display. The phone also has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on its front and back.


Inside, the POCO F3 has LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage in 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB configurations. It also has a 4,520mAh battery with Middle Middle Tab (MMT) technology. A 33W fast charger is included.

For cameras, there is an AI triple camera setup with a 48MP main camera with 1.6μm 4-in-1 pixel binning, a 119° ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP telemacro camera on the rear and a 20MP in-display camera on the front. Other features include LiquidCool Technology 1.0 Plus, a triple-microphone setup with Audio Zoom, an X-axis linear haptic motor, and a dual speaker setup with a main speaker at the bottom and secondary top-placed speaker. The POCO F3 also has Dolby Atmos, which POCO says is a first for the brand, but the feature will require a future OTA update to become available.


Meanwhile, the POCO X3 Pro comes with a 6.67" FHD+ DotDisplay with a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display also features DynamicSwitch for dynamic refresh rates and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection.


Inside, the phone has a 5,160mAh battery with Middle Middle Tab (a 33W fast charger is included in the box). For memory and storage, it has LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 in 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB configurations.

Camera-wise, the rear sports a quad-camera set-up with a 48MP camera with 1.6μm 4-in-1 pixel binning, a 119° ultra-wide camera lens, 2MP macro camera, and 2MP depth sensor. Meanwhile, the front has a 20MP in-display camera.


Other features of the POCO X3 Pro include LiquidCool Technology 1.0 Plus, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a dual top-and-bottom speaker setup, and a Z-axis linear motor.

The POCO F3 will cost RM1,399 and RM1,699 for the 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB configurations respectively, It has Arctic White, Night Black, and Deep Ocean Blue colour options.


As for the POCO X3 Pro, it will cost RM999 and RM1,299 for the 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB configurations respectively and has Phantom Black, Frost Blue, and Metal Bronze colour options. The POCO F3 will be available from March 27 on the Xiaomi Official Store Global on Lazada while the POCO X3 Pro will be available on the Xiaomi Official Store Global on Shopee from March 24.

Both phones will also have limited-time discounts, with the POCO X3 Pro being priced at RM899 for the 6GB+128GB option and RM1,099 for the 8GB+256GB option from March 24 to March 25 (23:59PM). Meanwhile, the POCO F3 will be priced at RM1,299 for the 6GB+128GB version and RM1,499 for the 8GB+256GB version from March 27 to March 28 (23:59PM).
