The phone has a 6.5” 2400 x 1080 display with Gorilla Glass 3 for protection, with Dynamic Switch allowing the display to switch automatically between 90Hz, 60Hz, 50Hz, and 30Hz refresh rates. For cameras, it has a 48MP camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth camera at the rear and an 8MP punch hole camera at the front.
Inside, the Poco M3 Pro 5G has a 5,000mAh battery (down from the regular Poco M3’s 6,000mAh battery), 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 64GB or 128GB of UFS2.2 storage. Other features include dual sim, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, a 360° light sensor, a microSD slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack, FM radio, 18W fast-charging, an infrared blaster and a fingerprint reader located on its side. The phone comes with a 22.5W charger and runs on Android 11 with MIUI 12.
Aesthetically, the phone offers a 3D curved-back design with a glossy finish. Poco Yellow, Power Black, and Cool Blue colours are available.
The Poco M3 Pro 5G seems like it’ll be heading to Europe first, with recommended retail prices listed at €180 (~RM909) price for the 4GB+64GB configuration and €200 (~RM1,010) for the 6GB+128GB configuration. There are also early bird deals on certain e-commerce sites which drop the prices to €160 (~RM808) and €180 (~RM909) respectively.
