The PUBG MOBILE National Championship (PMNC) is making a return in 2021, with PUBG Mobile partnering up with Yoodo and Xiaomi for this year’s iteration.
PMNC 2021 will be held from June 1 to July 18 with a total prize pool of RM100,000 on offer. The tournament will have the following categories: Squad, Solo, and Ladies. Meanwhile, the Qualifiers for the tournament will be divided into four zones, with each zone composed of several states. The zones are Erangel Zone (Sabah, Sarawak, Kelantan), Miramar Zone (Perak, Penang, Perlis, Kedah), Karakin Zone (Negeri Sembilan, Kuala Lumpur, Selangor), and Sanhok Zone (Terengganu, Pahang, Johor, Melaka).
The qualified Squad teams and Solo players will move on to the Zone Finals, which will take place over four weeks, in order to qualify for the Grand Finals. The Grand Finals will feature 16 teams, with four of the teams to be composed out of the top 16 players of the Solo category. The category will also feature the finals for the Ladies category.
The top four teams will be able to enter PUBG MOBILE Pro League MY/SG Season 4 (PMPL MY/SG S4), while the teams in fifth to 10th place will advance as Wild Card teams to the PMPL MY/SG Season 4 Qualifier Playoffs and battle for the top four spots in order to progress further. However, this opportunity does not apply to the Ladies category, which the registration terms and conditions note as not providing any slots for PMPL MY/SG Season 4.
“Ladies squad[s] wishing to enter these stages need to sign up through the Squad Category under the Zones eligible to them,” says the registration page.
Registration for all categories has already begun. You can check out the registration page here.
