Riot Games SEA, Carry Live Co., and Garena have announced that the Pacific Championship Series 2022 will kick off on 11 February, featuring 10 teams competing against each other in a cross-regional league, including six new teams.

The 10 teams joining the PCS 2022 Spring Split are Malaysia's SEM9, Taiwan's CTBC Flying Oyster, Deep Cross Gaming, Hurricane Gaming, Mega Bank Beyond Gaming, Meta Falcon Team, and Taipei J Team, Hong Kong's Frank Esports and PSG Talon, as well as Singapore's Impunity Esports.
The opening match will start on 11 February, played in best-of-one double round-robin matches, followed by best-of-x double-elimination matches in playoffs. The matches will be broadcast in English, Mandarin, Thai, and Cantonese.
