The renowned CVPR (Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition) officially opened in Nashville, USA. OPPO is making a strong presence at CVPR 2025 with ten research papers selected, encompassing a range of AI-related topics. Alongside its research achievements, OPPO is also showcasing its latest AI phones, including the upcoming Reno14 Series and the flagship Find X8 Ultra.

Pioneering Research in AI Vision: 10 Papers Accepted at CVPR 2025
This year, ten papers from OPPO Research Institute and various OPPO R&D teams have been accepted at CVPR. The research spans across image restoration, image processing, image super resolution and content generation, reflecting OPPO’s cutting-edge advancements in mobile AI and computer vision.
In the field of AI video generation, OPPO introduced the industry’s first DiT-based architecture that enables simultaneous control over character motion and camera trajectory. Through a novel decouple-and-fuse strategy using dynamic masks, the
method effectively resolves conflicts between motion and trajectory conditions, significantly improving video stability and generation quality.

In image processing, OPPO has developed the industry’s first large-scale, high resolution fine-grained semantic segmentation dataset and model, achieving a balance between accuracy and computational efficiency. A novel training method was also proposed to transfer fine segmentation capabilities to broader image categories, with potential applications in image understanding and partition optimization.

These contributions not only underscore OPPO’s leadership in AI vision research but also lay a solid technical foundation for the advancement of AI phones.
Driving Industry-Academic Collaboration: OPPO Co-Hosts Two AI Challenges
During CVPR 2025, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University–OPPO Joint Innovation Research Centre, with OPPO Research Institute’s Y-Lab and PolyU's Visual Computing Lab, co-hosted the second NTIRE RAIM Challenge. This provided a practical platform for advancing generalizable image restoration. Concurrently, the OPPO AI Center, in partnership with the University of Würzburg’s Visual Computing Lab, co-organized the inaugural NTIRE SIRR Challenge, establishing benchmarks for reflection removal in natural images using a comprehensive real-world dataset and expert feedback.
These events reinforce OPPO’s long-standing commitment to strengthening collaboration between academia and industry, supporting the growth of a robust global AI developer ecosystem.
AI Phones at the Forefront of Innovation
At CVPR 2025, OPPO presented its upcoming AI phones, including the Reno14 Series, Find X8 Ultra, and Find N5. These devices and their system-level AI innovations attracted significant attention from academic researchers and industry leaders alike.

The Find X8 Ultra, OPPO’s most advanced AI phone to date, introduces the all-new LUMO Imaging System. This system not only seamlessly integrates next-generation hardware innovation with breakthrough computational photography but also debuts the industry’s first full-chain ProXDR display technology. Consequently, it delivers
industry-leading portrait imaging quality, setting a new benchmark for mobile photography.
Furthermore, the upcoming Reno14 series include a range of OPPO’s proprietary AI Editing features—such as AI Eraser, AI Reflection Remover, AI Unblur, and the new AI Perfect Shot and AI Recompose—to help users salvage imperfect shots with just a single tap.
Global Expansion Through AI Innovation
CVPR 2025 marks OPPO’s third major international AI showcase this year, following MWC and Google Cloud Next 2025.
During MWC 2025, OPPO announced its enhanced AI strategy, positioning itself as a leader in AI experiences by delivering comprehensive, secure, and continuously evolving AI solutions focused on AI Productivity, AI Creativity, and AI Imaging. With this vision, OPPO aims to bring generative AI capabilities to nearly 100 million global users by the end of 2025. The company is also actively collaborating with global partners, including Google, Microsoft, MediaTek and Qualcomm, to explore broader possibilities for AI phones.
