Yesterday, OPPO released the OPPO Reno 9 Series in China which comes in three variants, OPPO Reno 9, OPPO Reno 9 Pro, and OPPO Reno 9 Pro Plus.
OPPO Reno 9
OPPO Reno 9 is the entry-level in the Reno 9 series. The phone boasts a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 950 nits.
In terms of specifications, the Reno 9 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC processor, coupled with 8 / 12GB of RAM and 256 / 512GB of storage. The battery comes with a 4500 mAh battery and a 67W charger.
For the camera, which all Reno series is known for, it comes with a 64MP + 2MP monochrome rear dual-camera and a 32MP selfie camera at the front.
This model comes in four different colour options, Bright Moon Black, Tomorrow Gold, and Slightly Drunken, and All Things Red.

OPPO Reno 9 Pro
The Reno 9 Pro is rather similar to the Reno 9 aside from a few noteworthy things. The processor that the Reno 9 Pro uses is a MediaTek Dimensity 9100 SoC compared to the Snapdragon chip.
Similarly to the Reno 8 series, the Reno 9 Pro also sports the MariSilicon X NPU to enhance the images better. The camera doesn't shy away because it sports a 50MP main camera + 8MP ultra-wide rear camera. It is however same for the front camera.
This model comes in three different colour options, Bright Moon Black, Tomorrow Gold, Slightly Drunken.

OPPO Reno 9 Pro Plus
As the name suggests, this is the most 'atas' variant in the series. In terms of screen design, it is the same as the entry-level and mid-range Reno 9 phones.
The camera on this one however comes with a 50MP main camera + 8MP ultra-wide camera + 2MP mono triple-camera setup that is also powered by the MariSilicon X NPU for better imaging.
This phone is powered by a different processing chip too, this one comes with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC coupled with 16GB of RAM. The battery has 4700mAh and supports 80W of wired charging as well as 50W of wireless charging.
This model comes in four different colour options, Gold, Green and Black.

Following this announcement, the OPPO Reno 9 series is set to go on sale on 2 December 2022, in China.
