OPPO has just launched the all-new Reno7 Series 5G in Malaysia, dubbed as the 'Portrait Expert'. The series features an outstanding camera system and AI-enhanced imaging features to capture DSLR-like portraits, including Portrait Mode, Bokeh Flare Portrait Video, and more.
The Reno7 Series features the iconic OPPO Glow design with the Laser Direct Imaging (LDI) effect to give the phone a more refined physical texture. It also comes with the new ColorOS 12.
The Reno7 sports a triple rear camera setup, which consists of a 64MP HD main camera, a 118-degree ultrawide angle camera, and a macro camera. It has a 32MP front-facing camera. Meanwhile, the Reno7 Pro includes a 50MP main camera powered by a flagship IMX766 sensor, an 8MP ultrawide angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a dedicated color temperature sensor. On its front is a 32MP flagship IMX709 sensor.

Thanks to the IMX709 sensor, the Pro model is able to capture 60% more light than standard RGGB sensors while reducing noise up to 35%. With that said, it enables the phone to take clearer and brighter images in low-light conditions. The Reno7 series also comes packed with several AI features to help you take better pictures and videos, such as Portrait Mode, Bokeh Flare Portrait Video, AI Highlight Video, and AI Color Portrait Video.
The Reno7 comes in two color options: Startrails Blue and Starry Black whereas the Reno7 Pro is available in Startrails Blue and Starlight Black. The Startrails Blue model is made using the LDI process to draw 1.2 million micro-rasters, giving the impression of a meteor shower gliding across the back cover of the device. The Reno7 Pro comes with a unique Orbit Breathing Light, a 3D circular light surrounding the camera area, which will emit light when the phone received incoming calls or notifications.

The vanilla Reno7 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. On the other hand, the Reno7 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200-MAX 5G chipset, coupled with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The series supports the RAM Expansion technology, allowing for up to an additional 5GB and 12GB RAM for the Reno7 and Reno7 Pro respectively.
The series is backed by a 4500mAh battery with a 65W SUPERVOOC charging support. It is said to be able to charge the phone up to 100% in 31 minutes.
