Today, OPPO officially launched the A96 in Malaysia with the OPPO Glow design, a large 5000mAh battery, and 33W SuperVOOC flash charging.
The OPPO A96 is equipped with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, complemented with up to 5GB of RAM expansion and a microSD slot. It's powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G processor. Underneath its hood is a big 5000mAh battery that can be filled up to 55% in a 30-minute charge using the 33W SuperVOOC charger. It can last for up to 15 hours of Whatsapp texting. OPPO has claimed to make improvements to its battery, including a Super Power Saving Mode and Optimized Night Charging.
It features a 6.59" LCD display with a 90.8% screen-to-body ratio, a 90Hz adaptive refresh rate, and FHD resolution. It also supports an AI Eye Comfort mode as well as 96% NTSC and 100% DCI-P3 color gamuts.
For photography, the device houses a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50MP main camera and a 2MP bokeh camera, along with a 16MP front-facing camera. The rear camera system also supports 5x digital zoom and up to 20 continuous burst shots, along with features like AI Palette, Neon Portrait, Flash Snapshot, and Selfie HDR.
In terms of design, the phone uses the OPPO Glow Design and comes in two color options: Starry Black and Pearl Pink. You can now pre-order the OPPO A96 with a retail price of RM1,299 until 22 April with rewards up to RM947.
