OPPO Launched Find X5 Series, Featuring MariSilicon X Image Chip

OPPO has officially unveiled two new flagship devices - the Find X5 Pro and Find X5.

Starting from the vanilla Find X5, it is powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset and a custom 6nm MariSilicon X image processing chip with the Hasselblad Natural Color Calibration feature. It is coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.

It runs on the new ColorOS 12.1, which comes with improvements in security, aesthetics, and privacy, as well as a new Multi-Screen Connect feature for seamless switching between the phone and Windows PC.

The Find X5 features a 6.55" OLED display with a 1080p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. For photography, its triple rear camera module includes two Sony IMX766 wide and ultrawide snappers as well as a 13MP telephoto camera. For selfies, it uses a 32MP front camera.

Underneath its hood is a 4800mAh battery that supports 80W SuperVOOC wired fast charging and 30W AirVOOC wireless charging. It is available in black, white, and purple in China.

On the other hand, the Find X5 Pro is a more premium device powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. It also boots ColorOS 12.1. It comes with a bigger 6.7" AMOLED display with a 1440p resolution, 1300 nits of brightness, a 120Hz variable refresh rate, and up to 1000Hz touch sampling rate. It also has 10-bit color and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.

It also sports the 6nm MariSilicon X chip, which is capable of AI noise reduction, 4K Ultra Night video with reduced photographic noise, and better colors. The device's rear camera setup consists of a 50MP wide Sony IMX766 camera, a 50MP ultrawide sensor, and a 13MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and 5x hybrid zoom. It also supports a new 5-axis optical image stabilization system that combines lens and sensor-shift tech. On the front is a 32MP IMX709 camera.

The phone is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus at the front and a ceramic rear panel, which improves cooling. Cooling is also more effective with a 3D graphene film that covers the charging coil and the motherboard. It also has a vapor chamber for the processor, which OPPO claims to be 75% bigger than its predecessor.

It packs a 5000mAh battery that supports 80W SuperVOOC charging, which can charge it from 0 - 50% in 12 minutes. It also supports 50W AirVOOC charging, which can fully juice the phone in 47 minutes. It comes in Ceramic White and Glaze Black options.
