OnePlus' latest flagship, the OnePlus 9 series, was officially launched in the US yesterday. Featuring cameras designed in partnership with Hasselblad, the phone promises improved image quality with Hasselblad's Natural Colour Calibration technology.
Apart from that, it also boasts a Snapdragon 888 chipset, Fluid Display 2.0 with DisplayMate A+ rating, as well as Warp Charge 65T and Warp Charge 50 wireless fast charging solutions.

To calibrate the OnePlus 9's sensors to meet Hasselblad's strict requirements for colour performance and image processing, OnePlus and Hasselblad "worked together to optimize hundreds of real-life scenes through computational photography to fine tune the color based on their mutual understanding of color performance as well as smartphone users’ needs and habits."
Both the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro feature a 48MP main camera with an IMX789 sensor and a 50MP ultra-wide with a 1/1.56" Sony IMX766 sensor. The latter has an additional 8MP telephoto lens with 3.3x zoom (up to 30x digital zoom) and is capable of filming at 4K 120fps.
The standard variant features a 6.55" FHD+ OLED display, while the Pro variant is slightly bigger at 6.7" with a QHD+ resolution. Expect a smooth 120Hz refresh rate with LTPO technology and a 360Hz touch sampling rate on the Pro variant.
The OnePlus 9 Pro comes in Morning Mist, Pine Green, and Stellar Black, and features an IP68 rating, while the OnePlus 9 comes in Winter Mist, Arctic Sky, Astral Black. Both models come with an 4,500mAh battery and support Warp Charge technology.
Local prices and availability have yet to be disclosed.
