The OnePlus 10 Pro has officially made its debut in China, packing a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, coupled with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Featuring a 6.7" LTPO 2.0 AMOLED screen, the smartphone has a 1440p resolution and adaptive refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz. The LPTO 2.0 panel allows the device to lower its frame rate under different cases, boosting its battery savings.
OnePlus has teamed up with Hasselblad once again for its cameras. The triple rear camera unit on the back consists of a 48MP Sony IMX789 main camera with 1.12μm pixels, a 50MP ultrawide shooter with a 150° field of view, and an 8MP telephoto camera with 3.3x optical zoom. On the other side, the selfie camera has a 32MP Sony IMX615 sensor. The partnership with Hasselblad adds features like Pro Mode 2.0 RAW shooting mode and Natural Color Optimisation 2.0, which delivers more life-like color images.
The new smartphone also sports a 5000mAh battery that comes with 80W fast wired charging and 50W fast wireless charging. OnePlus has also introduced a new feature called HyperBoost during the launch, which allows you to push the hardware to its limit for gaming purposes. To keep the device cool while under maximum performance, the company has improved its cooling system at "55% the size of an A4 paper sheet".
Available in green and black, the OnePlus 10 Pro comes in three options:
8+128 GB: 4,699 Yuan (~RM3,082)
8+256 GB: 4,999 Yuan (~RM3,279)
12+256 GB: 5,299 Yuan (~RM3,476)
While the device comes with ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12 in China, we expect it to boot OxygenOS for the global market.
