Nothing has unveiled the Ear (3), its latest flagship TWS earbuds, featuring precision acoustics, a case with a Super Mic, and a refreshed transparent design enhanced with metal elements, setting a new benchmark in personal audio.

Super Mic & Noise Cancellation

At the core of Nothing Ear (3) is Super Mic, a dual-mic system in the charging case that filters ambient noise up to 95 dB for crystal-clear calls and instant voice note recording via the TALK button, with notes syncing to Essential Space and auto-transcribed on Nothing OS. Each earbud adds three directional mics and a bone-conduction VPU for precise voice pickup, supported by AI noise cancellation trained on 20M+ hours of audio, cutting wind noise by 25 dB. Meanwhile, Adaptive ANC (up to 45 dB) recalibrates every few milliseconds to maintain consistent isolation on the move.

Sound

With Real-time Adaptive Noise Cancellation and an upgraded 12mm dynamic driver, Ear (3) provides rich, natural sound. A patterned diaphragm results in a 20% larger radiating area when compared to the previous generation, boosting bass response by 4-6 dB and treble by up to 4 dB for a wider soundstage, cleaner highs, and rich mids.

Design

The Nothing Ear (3) refines the brand’s transparent design with polished metal accents and a new 0.35 mm MIM antenna that boosts signal power by 15% and sensitivity by 20% for stronger connectivity compared to the 2024 Ear model. Its charging case is made from 100% recycled aluminium, crafted through 27 precision processes with nano injection moulding for a seamless, compact unibody without glue.

Performance

Nothing Ear (3) features upgraded 55 mAh batteries for up to 10 hours of playback per charge (38 hours with the case), plus fast USB-C charging and wireless charging support. With Bluetooth 5.4, LDAC, and low-latency mode under 120 ms, it delivers stable, detailed sound for music, gaming, and video. Easy pairing across Android, iOS, and Windows is supported, while the Nothing X app enables control customisation and quick access to Essential Space or ChatGPT. Both the earbuds and case are IP54-rated for dust, sweat, and splash resistance.
