Recently, the company that launched the Nothing Ear (1) true wireless earbuds was rumored to release a smartphone soon. Earlier today, Founder of Nothing, Carl Pei posted a cryptic message on Twitter, hinting at a new phone. It's almost confirmed when both Android and Qualcomm joined Carl in teasing the device.
Based on the conversation between the three companies, we assume that Nothing is planning to release a device running on the Android operating system. More specifically, Android 12 as Carl added an "Android 12 is nice!" comment and tagged Hiroshi Lockheimer, Senior Vice President of Android.
Qualcomm's Snapdragon Twitter account also replied with an image of three hands joining, indicating the three joining forces for the device. Looks like we will be getting an official announcement about a Nothing smartphone soon.
