Nokia X-series, G-series, and C-series Phones Announced

HMD Global has announced the launch of six new Nokia smartphones, which are divided evenly into the X-series, G-series, and C-series.


The “Top of the range” X-series consists of the Nokia X20 and Nokia X10. Both are armed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G and 4,470mAh battery and have a 6.67” Full HD+ punch-hole display and ZEISS Optics. The former has a 64MP main camera for its rear quad setup and a 32MP front camera, while the latter’s quad setup has a 48MP main camera. The X20 also has a Dual Sight feature for using both the front and rear cameras at the same time.


Both phones run on Android 11 with the Android One interface, and Nokia promises three years of security and software updates for the X-series. Additionally, they will come with a 100% compostable case. The X20 has Midnight Sun and Nordic Blue colour options, while the X10 has Forest and Snow options.

Meanwhile, the Nokia G20 and G10 of the “intermediate” G-series sport a 6.5” HD+ teardrop display and a 5,050mAh battery. The G20 is armed with a MediaTek Helio G35, while the G10 doesn’t have its CPU listed at the time of writing. Both support 512 GB of external storage.


Camera-wise, the G20 has a 48MP main camera, 5MP ultrawide camera, 2MP macro camera, and 2MP depth sensor for its rear setup, while the front has an 8MP camera. The G10 is has a 13MP main camera instead and lacks an ultrawide camera. Nokia promises three years of monthly security updates and two years of OS updates. The G20 has Night and Glacier colour options while the G10 has Night and Dusk choices.

Finally, the budget C-series, which consists of the Nokia C20 and C10, comes with a 6.5” HD+ display and a 3,000mAh battery. The C10 is listed with a SC7731 as its processor, while the C20’s specs page is missing processor details at the time of writing.


The C20 and C10 run on Android Go and have 2GB of RAM. Both support 256GB of external storage. The C20 and C10 both sport a 5MP rear camera and 5MP main camera. The C20 comes in Dark Blue and Sand, while the C10 has Grey and Light Purple choices.

All of the new Nokia phones will release in “select markets globally” this year. The X20 will release in May with 6+128GB and 8+128GB configurations with a Global Average RRP of €349 (~RM1,717), while the X10 will have 6+64GB, 6+128 GB and 4+128GB configurations and a Global Average RRP of €309 (~RM1,520).


Meanwhile, the G20 will have 4+64GB and 4+128GB configurations with a Global Average RRP of €159 (~RM782), while the G10 will have 3+32GB and 4+64GB configurations with a Global Average RRP of €139 (~RM684).


Finally, the C20 has 1+16GB and 2+32GB configurations with a Global Average RRP of €89 (RM438), while the C10 has 1+16GB, 1+32GB, and 2+16GB configurations with a Global Average RRP of €75 (RM369).
