Nintendo recently made an announcement on their official X (formerly known as Twitter) account that they will stop accepting repair requests for their new 3DS.
The post above was made earlier in March where Nintendo reported that repair services for 2DS, New 3DS, and New 3DS LL will be terminated effectively throughout the world due to a limited stock on replacement parts for those units.
However, one thing that fans can celebrate over would be the fact that repair services for the 2DS and 3DS XL in Japan will resume as always, only until Nintendo's replacement stocks eventually run dry. This news effectively ends the DS era of Nintendo as they look forward to launch their brand new consoles to the world!
