Yesterday, Garena Free Fire introduced a major patch called the BOOYAH Day Update, bringing with it plenty of new content, including Clash Squad Ranked Season 3, the new PARAFAL assault rifle, and the new “The Arena” spawn island, which was specifically designed for the Free Fire Continental Series 2020.
Players who rank up to Gold III and above in Clash Squad Ranked Season 3 will also earn the exclusive Golden FAMAS. As for the PARAFAL, this new AR boasts strong stopping power and range but is balanced out by its slow fire rate, which penalises 'spray-and-pray' players.
Now, grenades can also be cooked, opening up new tactical approaches to combat. A new Scan feature allows players to scan and locate nearby vehicles to make a quick getaway.
Apart from the above, Free Fire has also implemented several player-requested improvements, including spawn point optimisation, which allows players to spawn closer together and play some rounds in the new Target Arcade minigame, blast each other with the new Flamethrower, or hang out in the private movie theater.
Finally, Free Fire Cloud now enables users to upload, download, and overwrite their configuration in the settings menu whenever and wherever they want.
