Motorola has confirmed that the Edge X30 will be its first flagship smartphone using the newly launched Snapdragon 8 gen 1 chipset. In an official Weibo post, Motorola announced that the Edge X30 will launch in China on 9 December at 7.30pm local time.
Not much is known about the upcoming device but previous rumours suggested that it will feature a 6.67" AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. According to 3C certification, its 5000 mAh battery will support a 68.2 W charging technology. The phone could also sport a 60 MP selfie camera and a triple rear camera module consisting of a 50 MP main camera, a 50 MP ultrawide camera, as well as a 2 MP depth sensor.
