NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Games have revealed the video game "reboot" for Mortal Kombat 1 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC on September 19, 2023. An official announcement trailer was dropped to show similar characters like Liu Kang, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and more.
Players who pre-order the game from May 19th can expect to receive a playable character Shang Tsung. Besides that, players who purchase the Mortal Kombat 1 Premium or Kollector's Edition will gain early access to the game on September 14, 2023.
The Mortal Kombat Standard Edition will be available for $69.99 (~RM318); Premium Edition for $109.99 (~RM500); and Kollector's Edition for $249.99 (~RM1,137) which includes all Premium Edition content, early access, and a 16.5-inch Liu Kang sculpture by COARSE, Liu Kang in-game skin, three exclusive art prints, steel case, and a total of 2700 Dragon Krystals.
