Mark Zuckerberg has announced the Meta Quest 3 on his Instagram account. The latest VR/AR headset - Meta Quest 3 will be available this fall, starting from $499.
According to Mark Zuckerberg, the new headset is 40% thinner and comes with a better display, resolution, and more than twice the graphical performance with the next-gen Snapdragon chipset as well as a redesigned Touch Plus controller with TruTouch haptics feature and hand tracking.
It is worth knowing that the Meta Quest 3 is compatible with the Meta Quest 2's library and more titles will be added eventually. Moreover, Meta also promised to release more information about the new headset during the Meta Connect conference on September 27th, 2023.
